Terms & Conditions

BASU Nextgen Education Pvt. Ltd.  |  Effective Date: April 2026  |  Applicable To: Students of Classes 7th to 12th

These Terms and Conditions govern the enrollment, use of services, and relationship between BASU Nextgen Education Pvt. Ltd. ("the Institute") and the student and their parent or guardian ("you"). By completing enrollment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms stated below.

1. Fee Structure & Payment Obligation

The total course fee covers academic, administrative, study material, and transport components where applicable.

Fees are payable as per the installment schedule agreed upon at admission. The fee structure is applicable for the academic session and not for a period of 12 months from the date of joining. Enrollment taken in any month during the session remains valid only until the end of that academic session. No extension, carry-forward, or pro-rata adjustment will be granted on this basis.

The obligation to pay the full course fee remains irrespective of attendance, participation, or academic performance.

Late payment beyond 7 days from the due date will attract a penalty of ₹100 per day. If any installment remains unpaid beyond 15 days of its due date, academic access will be suspended and the Institute reserves the right to demand the entire remaining outstanding fee immediately.

Registration, administrative, and study material charges are strictly non-refundable. Fees once paid are non-transferable and non-adjustable to any other student, session, or course. Discounts, if any, are granted per Institute policy and cannot be transferred or carried forward.

2. Refund & Withdrawal Policy

Upon admission, a deduction equivalent to two months' fee shall apply irrespective of the date of withdrawal. This deduction applies even if the student discontinues before the completion of two months from the date of joining.

No refund shall be applicable once sixty days have elapsed from the date of joining, under any circumstances.

Withdrawal is effective only upon written application submitted to and acknowledged by the Institute. Verbal or informal requests will not be entertained. Approved refunds will be processed within 30 working days via bank transfer.

3. Transport Facility

Transport fee is calculated monthly for refund purposes and follows the same installment schedule as tuition fee.

Discontinuation requests must be submitted between the 1st and 15th of the month to be effective from the following month. Requests after the 15th take effect from the month after next. Refund is applicable only for unused complete months. No refund for temporary non-usage, irregular attendance, misconduct-related suspension, or route or timing changes.

Students must board and alight only at designated stops and be present on time. The transport vehicle will not wait for late arrivals. The Institute reserves the right to modify routes, stops, and timings based on operational requirements.

4. Academic Administration

The Institute reserves the right to modify batch timings, schedules, faculty assignments, curriculum, and academic methodology without prior notice. Enrollment does not guarantee specific marks, ranks, or admission outcomes in any examination.

A minimum of 90% attendance is required to be eligible for internal assessments and academic benefits. Any planned leave must be communicated by the parent or guardian in advance. Regular tests and assessments will be conducted and participation is mandatory. Academic progress reports will be shared with parents and guardians periodically.

5. Faculty Allocation

Faculty assignment is subject to institutional planning, availability, and operational requirements. Change of faculty is not a valid ground for refund or withdrawal. No enrollment shall be contingent upon the commitment of any specific faculty member.

6. Study Material & Intellectual Property

All academic content, notes, recorded sessions, and study materials provided by the Institute are proprietary and protected under applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. Unauthorized reproduction, recording, distribution, sharing, or uploading of such content is strictly prohibited and may result in disciplinary action as well as legal proceedings.

7. Code of Conduct

Students are expected to maintain discipline and show respect towards faculty, staff, and fellow students at all times. Misconduct including bullying, harassment, offensive language, or damage to property will not be tolerated.

Mobile phones and electronic devices are not permitted during class hours unless specifically instructed by the faculty.

Misconduct, indiscipline, persistent absenteeism, or academic dishonesty may result in termination of enrollment without refund. Misconduct or inappropriate behavior by a parent or guardian may also result in the student's enrollment being terminated without refund.
